About the event
In 2026, Ottawa will mark a once-in-a-century milestone: the 200th anniversary of the founding of Bytown – the settlement that grew into Canada’s capital. The Bytown Museum, located at the very heart of that origin story, is proud to lead a powerful year of bicentennial programming that reflects, reclaims, and reimagines our city’s shared history.
Join us for our 200+ kickoff fundraiser with an evening of food and drinks, be entertained with music from Bytown Sea Shanty Collective, a silent auction, and a celebration of the year to come. Let’s make history together!
Tickets are $60 per person, and includes a complimentary beverage.
All proceeds directly support the Bytown Museum’s Ottawa 200+ programming.
