About the event
The Bytown Sea Shanty Collective is back at BTP for our 4th annual Halloween Costume Party & Sea Shanty Night!
Come in costume-pirate, ghost, shark, anglerfish, or whatever spooky sea creature your heart desires. Only those in costume will be in the running for prizes, courtesy of our friends at BTP!
Expect great grog, booming shanties, surprise guests (maybe even Brian’s dad as Steve Zissou...), and a whole lot of merriment.
BSSC is a totally accessible singing experience:
• No cover, no experience needed, no pressure
• Lyrics projected + lyric books provided
• Jump in on a chorus or just sit back with your pint and enjoy
Want to lead a shanty? Message us ahead of time!
Bring your crew, raise your voices, and join us for the spookiest night of shanty singing this side of the seven seas.
Singing kicks off at 8PM!
